Jalsrushti, the only island resort in Pune is situated on the banks of river Mula which flows through the entire resort. The literal meaning of Jalsrushti is beauty of the waters and it resonates with the scenic simplicity that Jalsrushti is. As you step inside the large gate of the resort, you will be pleasantly surprised to find the river Mula flowing ahead of you. A raft which floats on plastic cans( the best recycling use of plastic you can come across) takes you to the other side where the resort lies. A rope which is attached to the other end is pulled by the staff to take you to your destination. The reception is an enclosed glass space where the check-in process takes place and is equipped with a small library at one of its ends. Bookshelf consisting of all genres of books can be seen stacked in the library. The cottages which are the essence of the resort are named as Jalpushp and Jalaka with 8 Jalpushp (Riverside) on the outer periphery and 7 Jalaka (Pondside) cottages on the inner periphery surrounding the pond. Jalaka cottages facing the pond are surrounded by ample amount of bougainvillea trees and pineapple shoots. Most couples who visit Jalsrushti love the privacy and peacefulness that the place offers. With each cottage at a distance from the other and having a natural view of its own, the serenity and calmness is something that pulls the guests towards this place. Unwind in the cottages, sit on the porch with your better half and watch the birds flying over the lake or read a book in painstaking silence or walk around the garden amidst all the greenery. If you and your partner are adventurous, we have outdoor activities like rifle shooting, archery, cycling and horse riding in our farms. Our tractor guide takes you for a ride across the various undiscovered small places in the resort and finally drops you at the farms for you to take a nice long walk through the organic farms. The meals served at the restaurant are prepared from fresh vegetables and fruits growing in our farms. From the garden to the kitchen and right onto your plate, our aim is to provide you with the healthiest food while you stay with us.
