Flexi Swiss Pass holders: A Flexi Swiss Travel Pass is valid for 30 days. So if you have chosen 4 days Flexi pass, then your Jungfrau tickets are also valid for 30 days. But the day you decide to visit will Jungfrau will be marked as one of the days on your Swiss Pass. So plan your trip to Jungfrau accordingly.

The new Eiger Express to Jungfraujoch
Travel on the Eiger Express tricable gondola, which transports you from Grindelwald Terminal to the Eiger Glacier station (Eigergletscher) in just 15 minutes.
The new Eiger Express gondola not only reduces the total travel duration to the top by 47 minutes, but also guarantees stunning views of the north face of the Eiger. Each of the 44 gondolas can accommodate 26 passengers which are enclosed with glass windows and heated seating arrangements to ensure a cosy journey along with great views.

The Grindelwald Terminal also offers a sports shop and a shopping center with popular Swiss brands for those who’d like to shop before or after the journey.
This new journey segment is included in your Jungfraujoch ticket and is available at the same cost. Passengers are required to take the train from Interlaken OST to the Grindelwald terminal, followed by the Eiger Express up to the Eiger Glacier Station, and the last segment to the top of Jungfrau by a cogwheel train.
Passengers can still take the traditional route from Interlaken OST / Grindelwald to Jungfraujoch by train.

How to reach Jungfrau

Toboggan Run
One of the most sought after activities is the toboggan run in Frakmuntegg. Get your adrenaline pumping as you zip through steep curves on this 1350 meter run which makes it the longest summer toboggan run in Switzerland. Children below 2 years are not allowed.

How to get to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise
Firstly, you will have to reach Zermatt, the car-free region in Switzerland. No matter where you are staying in Switzerland, use the SBB app, the most popular Swiss app for public transport, to check the routes and reach Zermatt via the impeccable Swiss transport system.

From the Zermatt rail station, you can either walk, a 20-minute walk, or take an electric bus to reach the gondola station.

Your trip begins at the gondola station. Remember, you have to change three gondolas to reach your final destination, i.e. Matterhorn Glacier Paradise.

First gondola takes you to Furi at 1640 meters. While ascending, you will get to see a bird’s eye view of the Zermatt village.

Second gondola takes you from Furi to Trockener Steg at 2939 meters. The second cable car ascends over a rough, rocky alpine landscape. If you are already tired, grab something to keep you going at the Trockener Steg restaurant.

Third and the last gondola takes you from Trockener Steg to Klein Matterhorn, famously known as Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. In this ride, you have an option to choose from various types of gondola rides. You can choose a regular gondola ride, an older cable car, or ramp up your experience by choosing the ‘Crystal ride’, which has a glass floor that becomes transparent in 3 minutes once the ride begins. Matterhorn Glacier Paradise with Swiss Travel Pass
Broadly, there are two types of tickets available to access Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. One is a full fare ticket, and another one is a discounted fare ticket with Swiss Travel Pass. A Swiss Travel Pass holder can purchase tickets at nearly half the rate. And to top it off, just like children travel free with a Swiss Pass holder, even at Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, admission to children up to the age of 15 years are free only if the parent has a Swiss Travel Pass.

Glacier 3000 promises thrill! Over 3000 metres above sea level, Glacier 3000 offers stunning views and a wide range of activities for families and all ages.  

Boarding the cable car at Col Du Pillon you cannot help but marvel at the summit station designed by architect Miario Botta even before you reach it.

Once on top you are in for a visual feast of over 24 mountain peaks all over 4000 meters tall and extending as far as the eye can see. The views stretch as far as the Jungfrau, Matterhorn and even the Mont Blanc.

Things to do at Glacier 3000 

Peak walk by Tissot 
The highlight of your trip for sure! This suspension bridge connects 2 peaks and takes you to new heights. The 107 metre long and 80 cm wide bridge will give you a feeling of being one with nature and offer stunning views of the alpine landscape around you. It is free of charge and open year round.

Alpine coaster (In summer) 
The waves, jumps, circles and curves of the 1 kilometer long Alpine coaster can be traversed at up to 40 km/hour. Don’t fear the speed since you have the brake control in your hands and can adjust the speed as per your requirement. This coaster is at times up to 6 mteres above the ground so be prepared to have your adrenaline pumping. You require being 130cm in height to sit on the Alpine coaster and children under 9 years can ride tandem with another person of over 9 years of age.

Snow Bus
Ride the snow bus to get a true feel of the glacier area and expanse. The snow bus accommodates up to 20 persons and is a safe way to explore the glacier

Dogsled rides
Huskies are a really friendly and gentle breed of dogs and are totally at home in the snow and cold climate. They pull you along with their infectious barks and ensure that you have a truly unique experience.

Sliding at the Fun Park

How to reach Glacier 3000

From Gstaad train station, take a bus which takes you to Col Du Pillon from where you will hop on to the cable car to reach the peak of Glacier 3000.

If you want to be at the Top of Adventure then Grindelwald First is the place you must go to. Being a part of the Jungfrau region and located at an altitude of 2166m, not only do you get magnificent views of the Eiger North Face, but also a definite adrenaline rush with the activities it offers. Like most mountains, you must go up to the peak by cable car, but unlike most mountains, you experience a completely different side of things on the way down.

Instead of coming down by cable car, you can come down in the most exciting ways as follows:

First Glider or First Flyer

From the peak to Schreckfeld
First Glider: Take flight with an eagle and glide down with it. Float through the most picturesque mountain landscape and enjoy the views en route this 800 metre journey at 83 kms/hr. You have to be a minimum of 10 years and 130 cm in height to fly on the Glider.

First Flyer: Feel the void of having nothing but open air surround you and fly down on this 800 metre long route perfectly secured into your harness. The First Flyer and its 4 passengers zip along the 800 metre route at a top speed of 84 kms/hr. For some extra fun, the Flyer also stops to hover at some points approximately 50 metres over the Alpine landscape. You need to be a minimum of 35 kgs in weight to be eligible for this ride.

Schreckfeld to Bort
Ride down this 3 km route in your very own mountain cart which is offers the best of a sled and a go-kart. Ramble down any terrain and at your own speed once you are settled in with your helmet (offered free). The mountain cart is also suitable for children 135 cm or more in height

Trottibike scooter
Bort to Grindelwlad
Relive childhood memories as you step on to the wide footboard of your trottibike scooter. Stand upright and roll downhill as fast or slow as you like. Make sure you spend a few moments to just stop and stare at the serene views or hear the cows moo in nearby meadows.

How to reach Grindelwald First
With the Bernese Oberland Railway, you can reach Grindelwald station. From there, in the First Railway, from the valley station in the upper village centre in three sections to Grindelwald First by cable car.

BORT ALPINE PLAYGROUND
If travelling with little ones who are not comfortable with heights, you can spend some time at the playground. There are rockers shaped liked marmots and squirrels, a rope park specially designed for tiny tots and can help them improve their balance.

How to reach Stanserhorn
Mount Stanserhorn is accessible from Stans. Travel from Interlaken or Zermatt to Betten Talstation.
